- 1. Wall Colors
- When painting the walls of your bedroom, you need to strike the right balance to ensure that the color is soothing as well energetic. Choosing shades and tones of yellow and green seem to work best. Blue, although a favorite may be too soothing for the morning or daytime.
- 2. The Smells
- Sleeping and waking up in a nice smelling room can do wonders to your mood. Spray some air freshener in your room to lull you to sleep. You can even consider lighting some candles for a while before you go to sleep. Make sure that no candles are lit while you sleep, as it is a fire hazard.
- 3. De-clutter
- This is the most important step to freeing up space in your bedroom and making it feel more alive. Clean up the room of old or unused items. If you always find yourself piling up your used clothes, maybe you need to rectify your system. Attack it at the root and put a laundry basket in your room. Make sure it is covered.
- 4. Nature
- The best way to energize in the morning is to have a peaceful night’s rest. Keep your windows open to let the cool breeze enter your room. If this is not feasible for whatever reason, keep the blinds up so that you can be woken up by the morning sun. Morning sunlight gives us Vitamin D making us more energetic.
